Swimming Lesson / Class - Fastwaves ProgramFastwaves is fast gaining recognition as a leader in aquatic education in Singapore. All our Swimming mentors are fully qualified and accredited by both Singapore Sport Council and National Registrar of Coaches (NROC). Our swimming lesson / class are generally conducted in Singapore Sport Council (SSC) swimming pools. We also provide lesson /class at private pools such as condominiums, country clubs, schools. We have also introduced our swimming program to pre-schooler by partnering with pre-school institutions in Singapore Swimming aids in Child DevelopmentParents are conscious about their child's development and swimming is part of their plans. Every parent regards swimming as an essential life long skill, knows that his or her child must learn how to swim at some point.

Motor skills are motions carried out when the brain, nervous system, and muscles work together. Gross motor skills are what control big movements, using your body, arms and legs. The only way to improve gross motor skills is to get moving and use them. Swimming encourages gross-motor-skill development build muscle, boost fitness, improve coordination and provide great satisfaction. Eye-hand-legs coordination is the ability of the vision system to coordinate the information received through the eyes to control, guide, and direct the hands/legs in the accomplishment of a given task; Eye-hand-legs coordination uses the eyes to direct attention and the hands/legs to execute a task. Swimming is a technique used to move through water using only movements of the body, a combination of arms/legs/body movement coupled with control breathing thru the mouth and nose. Swimming is a lifelong SkillDrowning is one of the most common causes of accidental deaths among children. How many precious lives might have been saved had the deceased known the rudiments of water safety. Although the value of swimming is incalculable and it is important to start learning at young age, we do not primarily promote swimming as a preventive measure to drowning. Even most experienced and competence swimmer can drown. In our swimming lesson / class, besides imparting swimming skill, we will inculcate the importance of water safety to the children.
